Grip! Is a fully scalable,
offline product that operates across computer
types, including mobile devices and Windows
systems. Potential applications include
retail, CRM, document management and security.
Charles
Ashwanden (Chief Executive Officer)
After an extensive career in the investment
bank ratings business, Charles moved to
the high tech markets in 1999. He advised
and worked with a number of Blue chip
organizations, investigating and implementing
process automation and personal portal
products on an enterprise wide basis.
Charles brings broad
experience of Management, Marketing and
Sales within the Software and Services
marketplace. He has held a number of senior
positions including Managing Director
of Standard and Poor’s Micro pal Asia,
Hong Kong, and General Manager of Bowne
Business Solutions, Asia Pacific.
Charles founded Grip!
Software in June 2002 and has developed
the company from concept to a leading
– edge software organization, focusing
his energies and innovative flair on a
family of web – services based applications
for utilization by both individuals and
commerce.
Nick
Everest (Head of Information Technology)
Nick is Grips’ innovative technical
resource. He brings nine year of technical
experience gained within a leading software
providers financial services division.
As Grips’ most experienced Project Manager,
Nick has responsibilities across all areas
of the technology area.
Nick has comprehensive
experience of design, development, management,
and support of a broad portfolio of products.
With hands-on experience of developing
with several languages and databases,
and also has four years experience of
remotely managing offshore development
projects. He joined Grip! in June 2003,
and is responsible for technology and
development.
David
King (Head of Strategic Marketing)
David is a commercially
focused strategic marketer, bringing 19
years experience of IT–based Service marketing,
strategy and proposition development.
From key roles within engineering through
to systems engineer and consultant, the
last ten years have been focused on sales
and marketing management. David has taken
several products from concept to commercial
success, and his experience incorporates
management of research and development,
particularly regarding Internet products.
Geographies include North America, mainland
Europe, Japan and Scandinavia. David joined
Grip Software in May 2003, and his responsibilities
cover Marketing and Sales Strategy, and
Operations
